Ormco in Mexicali, Mexico is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Handler to manage the inbound and outbound flow of materials for production. You will handle receiving, storage, and shipment preparation, and ensure proper inventory records and compliance with waste storage requirements.

The role involves coordinating material deliveries, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, and executing controlled registrations of materials and returns to support manufacturing workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Receive materials from local and United States suppliers.
• Store, supply and deliver materials needed for production, and handle returns for stock, waste and shipments.
• Register materials in controlled formats (orders filled, returns, material delivery, waste list, transfers).
• Verify stocks of materials and prepare purchase requisitions authorized by supervisor (packaging materials, gases, containers).
• Maintain the waste room and proper storage of hazardous materials; fill logs.
• Keep the warehouse area clean and well organized.

Descripción del empleo

Responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control. Performs manual and/or clerical duties that may utilize various systems / WMS involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment. Performs a wide variety of planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow. Coordinates and monitors workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritizing activities in assigned distribution area. Maintains compliance with relevant local, country and international guidelines. May have responsibility for fulfillment administration and processes.

Job Requirements

• Receive materials from local and United States suppliers.
• Is responsible for storing, supplying and delivering the materials necessary for production, as well as receiving material returns for stock, waste and preparing shipments.
• Registration of materials in controlled formats (orders filled, returns, material delivery, waste list, transfers, etc.).
• Verify the stocks of the materials purchased by the warehouse and prepare the purchase requisition previously authorized by the supervisor (packaging materials, gases, containers, etc.).
• Maintains the waste room, filling out logs, as well as proper storage of hazardous materials.
• Keeps the warehouse area clean and well organized.
