Job summary

Molex seeks an NPI Tooling Engineer to drive tooling development and validation for new product introductions, ensuring quality, safety, and cost objectives across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure readiness for production launches, report to the NPI Molding Manager, and lead continuous improvement in tooling reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in tooling, mold development, validation, or manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and tooling design.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling development and management for new product introductions and manufacturing operations.
• Oversee injection mold and tooling validation to ensure quality and production requirements.
• Partner with suppliers on tooling design, development, qualification and improvements.
• Drive maintenance and continuous improvement focused on tooling reliability, productivity, and cost.
• Manage tooling-related project activities and support production launch milestones.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing requirements.
