Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking a Mechanical Design Support Specialist to help design, fabricate, and implement fixtures and tooling for new product introductions and manufacturing processes. You will create 3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation, and assist in equipment validation and start-up activities.

Competenze

• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Design or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or mechanical design.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Mansioni

• Create and update 3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation for fixtures, tooling, and support equipment.
• Support the fabrication, assembly, and testing of fixtures and equipment solutions.
• Operate and maintain resin and filament 3D printers to support prototyping activities.
• Assist engineers and technicians in prototype development, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Support fixture trials and production floor validations with NPI, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings, and engineering records in accordance with company standards.
• Assist with equipment installation, startup, and operator training activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
