Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking an engineer with 1–3 years of experience to support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for New Product Introductions. You will work with multidisciplinary and global teams to ensure efficient, compliant production launches.

The role focuses on process optimization, tooling and equipment readiness, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality products on schedule.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in manufacturing engineering, process development, industrialization, NPI or related environments.
  • Experience in product introduction, manufacturing process development and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience with structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt preferred).
  • Understanding of DMAIC methodology.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and implementation of manufacturing processes for NPI projects.
  • Develop, document, validate, and optimize processes, tooling, equipment, and production methods for launches.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Global Manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and readiness.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and deploy manufacturing platforms for new products.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause investigations to resolve issues.
  • Support equipment setup, configuration, testing, and qualification activities.
  • Participate in technical reviews and collaborate with global stakeholders on projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout development.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks and manage priorities to meet timelines.

  • Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Develop, document, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and production methods to support successful product launches.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and process readiness.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams focused on developing and deploying manufacturing platforms for new products.
  • Perform troubleshooting activities and root cause investigations to resolve manufacturing and process-related issues.
  • Support equipment setup, configuration, testing, and qualification activities.
  • Participate in technical reviews and collaborate with global stakeholders on project execution and process development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout product and process development activities.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while effectively managing priorities and meeting project timelines.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, industrialization, NPI, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in product introduction, manufacturing process development, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience using structured problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools (Yellow Belt or Green Belt preferred).
  • Understanding of DMAIC methodology.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
