GE HealthCare in Monterrey is seeking an engineer with 1-3 years in manufacturing, process development, or NPI to help develop and implement manufacturing processes for new product launches. You will collaborate with global teams, document and optimize processes and tooling, support equipment setup and qualification, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across product development.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 1–3 years in manufacturing engineering, process development, industrialization, NPI, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in product introduction, manufacturing process development, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience using structured problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools (Yellow Belt or Green Belt preferred).
  • Understanding of DMAIC methodology.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Develop, document, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and production methods to support successful product launches.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and process readiness.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams focused on developing and deploying manufacturing platforms for new products.
  • Perform troubleshooting activities and root cause investigations to resolve manufacturing and process-related issues.
  • Support equipment setup, configuration, testing, and qualification activities.
  • Participate in technical reviews and collaborate with global stakeholders on project execution and process development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout product and process development activities.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while effectively managing priorities and meeting project timelines.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, industrialization, NPI, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in product introduction, manufacturing process development, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience using structured problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools (Yellow Belt or Green Belt preferred).
