SANMINA-SCI TECHNOLOGY INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED in Mexico is seeking an NPI Leader to drive new product introductions, ensure adherence to SOP-8-40004-581, and coordinate with the CIT to identify manufacturability and design issues. This role releases manufacturable products that meet client quality and time requirements.

It requires strong knowledge of BOMs, schematics, SFDC, MRP (Oracle), ISO 14001 and IATF standards, plus leadership of the NPI team, project management, and continuous improvement

Formación

• Experience with NPI processes and SOPs is required.
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, schematics, AVLs, and ECOs.
• Ability to manage projects and personnel and develop Gantt charts.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and IATF standards.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in manufacturing.

NPI Leader

The NPI Leader is responsible for ensuring that assigned NPI projects follow the New Product Introduction procedure (SOP-8-40004-581) to meet each client's quality and time requirements, achieving success in each phase of the methodology by identifying manufacturability and design issues in conjunction with the CIT team, and releasing manufacturable products that generate profit for the plant. The NPI Leader also leads and coordinates the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to guarantee that all client requirements are met and total satisfaction is achieved. This includes coordinating the implementation of new processes for assemblies of existing product families and clients.

Required Technical Skills

KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of client documentation (BOMs, schematics, AVLs, ECOs, etc.).
• Knowledge of the Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC) system.
• Basic knowledge of the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) system (Oracle)
• Knowledge of quality methodologies such as FMEA and 8Ds
• Basic knowledge of design problems, manufacturing processes, and repair processes
• Project and personnel management. Ability to develop and follow Gantt charts.
• Knowledge of the pilot run and first piece validation process.
• Knowledge of internal and external NPI checklists.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and IATF standards
• CIT Board and Basics Board
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as LSS
