Sanmina is seeking an experienced NPI Leader in Mexico, Jalisco, Región Centro, responsible for ensuring that NPI projects adhere to established procedures while meeting client quality and time requirements.

The successful candidate will coordinate the NPI team and oversee the implementation of new processes for product assemblies. Essential qualifications include knowledge of quality methodologies, project management skills, and familiarity with relevant standards such as ISO 14001.

Formación

• Proficient in project and personnel management, with experience developing Gantt charts.
• Strong knowledge of quality methodologies including FMEA and 8Ds.
• Familiar with ISO 14001 and IATF standards.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure NPI projects follow procedures to meet quality and time requirements.
• Lead and coordinate the NPI team to satisfy client needs.
• Implement new processes for assemblies of existing product families.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of client documentation (BOMs, schematics, AVLs, ECOs, etc.)

Knowledge of the Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC) system

Basic knowledge of the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) system (Oracle)

Knowledge of quality methodologies such as FMEA and 8Ds

Project and personnel management; Ability to develop and follow Gantt charts

Knowledge of ISO 14001 and IATF standards

Job Description

The NPI Leader is responsible for ensuring that assigned NPI projects follow the New Product Introduction procedure (SOP-8-40004-581) to meet each client’s quality and time requirements, achieving success in each phase of the methodology by identifying manufacturability and design issues in conjunction with the CIT team, and releasing manufacturable products that generate profit for the plant. The NPI Leader also leads and coordinates the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to guarantee that all client requirements are met and total satisfaction is achieved. This includes coordinating the implementation of new processes for assemblies of existing product families and clients.

Required Technical Skills

• Knowledge of client documentation (BOMs, schematics, AVLs, ECOs, etc.)
• Knowledge of the Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC) system
• Basic knowledge of the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) system (Oracle)
• Knowledge of quality methodologies such as FMEA and 8Ds
• Basic knowledge of design problems, manufacturing processes, and repair processes
• Project and personnel management; Ability to develop and follow Gantt charts
• Knowledge of the pilot run and first piece validation process
• Knowledge of internal and external NPI checklists
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and IATF standards
• Knowledge of CIT Board and Basics Board
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as LSS
