Molex, a Koch company, is seeking an NPI Molding Process Engineer to drive the development, validation, and optimization of injection molding processes for new products. You will lead mold qualification and work across teams to ensure production readiness and process stability.

The role emphasizes scientific molding, DOE/SPC/FTA analyses, and collaboration with tooling suppliers to deliver high-quality, efficient manufacturing. On-site roles require up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Tooling Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years in injection molding process engineering.
• Experience developing, validating and optimizing molding processes.
• Experience with scientific molding methodologies.
• Familiarity with DOE, SPC, PFMEA, MSA and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize injection molding processes to support launches and manufacturing excellence.
• Lead mold qualification activities and establish robust process parameters.
• Support NPI initiatives from development through production.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for molding issues.
• Collaborate with tooling suppliers to support process development and production readiness.
• Support process transfers between facilities and manufacturing standards.
• Evaluate and implement molding technologies and best practices.
• Develop and maintain process documentation for quality and manufacturing requirements.
• Apply scientific molding and data-driven decisions to improve product quality and process performance.
• Support training and provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams.
