Johnson Controls in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking an experienced Logistics professional to support the NPI process by aligning logistics, planning and manufacturing with R&D teams. You will ensure seamless interfaces and data flows across departments, enabling smooth transfers from development to production.

The role requires strong English communication, a background in production/logistics and the ability to drive cross-organizational processes in a multi-tasking environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within an electronics company.
• Bachelor's or higher in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Good command of English and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate logistics interfaces between R&D, planning and manufacturing within Operations.
• Track performance across operations units and provide feedback to R&D and engineering teams.
• Build automated control processes and KPIs for units serving R&D (Operations, Electronics Plant, Plastics Plant, subcontractors).

What you will do:

You will be part of department responsible for the logistical activities of the R&D division within the NPI process (New Product Introduction — the transfer of products from development to production), including creating interfaces between the logistics, planning, and manufacturing units within the Operations division and the R&D teams.

How you will do it:

• Involvement in all logistical aspects throughout the development stages of new products, supporting R&D and engineering needs in these areas.
• Ongoing tracking of performance across the various operations units and providing periodic feedback to R&D and engineering teams (service consumers).
• Building automated control processes and KPIs with all units providing services to R&D (Operations, Electronics Plant, Plastics Plant, subcontractors).

What we look for:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within an electronics company.
• Industrial Engineering and Management with a specialization in Production/Logistics/Planning & Control.
• Good command of English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and work independently.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
