Sanmina is seeking an NPI Lead/Manager to join our manufacturing team in Mexico. The candidate will serve as the main technical point of contact with customers, lead project strategy, and drive risk prevention across initiatives.

This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and experience coordinating with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate has +5 years in NPIs within manufacturing, with a background in sheet metal processes, engineering degrees, and

Formación

• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP. PFMEA, and production processes.
• Knowledge of Gauges / poka yokes, fixtures and production processes.
• Knowledge of Office tools (Excel , Powerpoint,etc)
• Experience working in a global environment with diverse and remote teams using Project Management tools

Responsabilidades

• Main technical point of contact with customers.

• Lead project meeting status with team members (internally / externally).
• Tracks and provides project status (internally / externally).
• Creates project timelines, keeps them updated and ensures all people involved in the project
• Comply with the deadlines and key dates, within scope and budget.
• Supports the production team coordinating with vendors and suppliers as needed
• Manage resources and develop action plans for project members
• Lead technical activities during project definition and production initiation

Descripción del empleo

• +5 year´s experience in the manufacturing environment as a NPI lead or NPI manager ,
• Experience on sheet metal process preferred.
• +5 year´s experience leading major transitions of projects and NPI programs.
• Bachelor Industrial / Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Design software knowledge (Solidworks, proe, etc) desiderable
