Henkel is seeking a Network SME to act as the technical lead for network services, overseeing design, standards, lifecycle management, and complex troubleshooting across campus, DC, WAN, and cloud environments.

You will drive improvements, support major projects, ensure security and architecture compliance, and serve as the highest level of technical escalation for network-related issues. This role requires strong expertise and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Strong experience in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN).
• Experience with enterprise wireless and SDN/SD-WAN technologies.
• Automation skills in Python, Ansible, APIs.
• Familiarity with hybrid/cloud networking (Azure/AWS/GCP/Alibaba) and on‑prem products.

About this Position

The Network SME is the technical lead for networkservices, responsible for network design, standards, lifecycle management, andcomplex troubleshooting. The role drives networkimprovements, supports major projects and upgrades, ensures security andarchitecture compliance, and serves as the highest level of technicalescalation for network-related issues.

What you´ll do

• Implement scalable, secure network architectures (Campus, DC, WAN, Cloud).
• Provide expert-level support for routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and major incident resolution and ensure network security, compliance, and adherence to standards.
• Drive network automation using APIs, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code
• Implement monitoring, observability, and performance optimization acting as escalation point for complex issues and vendor coordination.

What makes you a good fit

• English medium/advanced required 8+ Years of Experience within same roles.
• Strong experience in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN).
• Preferred technology vendors such as HPe, Aruba, CNX.
• Enterprise wireless and SDN/SD/WAN knowledge such as SilverpeakNetwork security concepts (Zero Trust, segmentation, firewalls).
• Automation Skills (Python, ansible, APIs).
• Monitoring and troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of hybrid/cloud networking (Azure/AWS/GCP/Alibaba and their on-prem Products).
