Formación

• 5+ years experience in telecommunications, networking, or IT security.
• 2+ years supporting and implementing SDWAN and/or SASE.
• Technical certifications from Ciena, Juniper, Nokia, or Cisco.

Responsabilidades

• Perform tasks related to network engineering, potentially beyond usual responsibilities.
• Implement and support SDWAN and SASE technologies.
• Work in various UNIX system environments.

Location : LATAM (except Brazil)

Required Certifications

· Technical certifications in the field from one or more of the following:

Ciena, Juniper, Nokia, Cisco

Technical Experience

· Direct experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN) technologies

· Experience and basic understanding of technologies and protocols used in less common networking disciplines

· Scripting and automation in a JSON environment

o Knowledge of Bash, Python, XML, YANG/NETCONF

· Ability to work in UNIX systems environments (BSD, Linux, Solaris, etc.)

· Experience working with SASE and other remote access technologies

Education & Certifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field

Experience / Minimum Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, networking, IT security, or related fields

· Experience in a service provider environment and carrier engineering preferred

· 2+ years of experience supporting and implementing SDWAN and/or SASE

Other Skills & Abilities

· Experience with the following technologies:

o Data: QinQ, G.8032, 802.3ad, 802.3ag, STP, PBT, VPLS, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, BGP, IS-IS, IPv6

o Optical: DWDM, SONET, CWDM

· Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, and intermediate PC skills

Organizational Relationship

· Reports to: Manager Network Engineering or Sr Manager Network Engineering
