Ampstek is seeking a .NET Fullstack Developer with React to join as a contract-to-hire team member. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software across legacy Web Forms/VB.NET and modern React/.NET Core stacks.

You will collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps to ensure scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions while contributing to CI/CD, testing, and operational excellence.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET and modern web development practices.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Exposure to VB.NET is a strong plus given legacy portions of the codebase.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Ability to follow technical direction and learn complex systems.
• Experience with AI development tools and methodologies.

Job Description

Position Summary

The Software Engineer is a mid-level engineering role responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support the company’s products and platform capabilities. This role works closely with senior engineers, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable software in a modern cloud-based engineering environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop backend and frontend functionality using modern engineering practices
• Follow and uphold team coding standards, commit conventions, and engineering best practices
• Contribute to both classic (Web Forms / VB.NET) and modern (React / .NET Core) areas of the codebase
• Collaborate on technical design and architecture discussions
