About the Role

Join our dynamic Incentives Development team, where innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence drive us. As a Software Developer, you’ll contribute to the Varicent Incentives platform—a single-page web app. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and data scientists to build modern, scalable features that deliver exceptional user experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and refine features to support client success and platform growth
• Collaborate in a cross-functional, knowledge-sharing team
• Work with modern tools and open-source technologies where applicable
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain robust code

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience
• Strong understanding of software design principles and OOP
• Proficiency with React, Redux, .NET or Java, and TypeScript
• Experience with REST APIs and single-page applications
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency level B2 or higher
• Team player mindset with a drive to learn and grow

Note: Candidates must be based in Mexico. Only resumes submitted in English will be considered.

• Learn our development process, codebase, standards, and tools.
• Participate in team meetings, collaborate, and communicate progress.
• Complete small tasks or bug fixes to demonstrate coding ability.

First 60 Days: Building Momentum

• Handle assigned tasks independently.
• Implement new features or modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Follow coding standards, produce maintainable code, participate in reviews.
• Contribute valuable input during discussions.

First 90 Days: Hitting Your Stride

• Meet project deadlines and deliver quality work.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Suggest improvements to development processes.
• Make positive impacts on projects and team success.

Additional Information

• This role is employed through a professional employer organization, with potential future transfer to a local Varicent entity.
• Work hours are aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST). Flexibility for candidates outside EST is required.
