A leading electronic manufacturing company seeks a Product Engineer to oversee production support for specific products. The role involves collaborating with design and engineering teams to solve problems, enhance product quality, and implement improvements. Ideal candidates will possess a BS degree in engineering and significant experience in a manufacturing setting, especially within the automotive sector.

Formación

• At least 5 years in Product Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a direct PE/Quality engineer in the industry.
• Knowledge of Quality Core Tools: PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, 8D, Control Plan.

Product Engineer

Responsibilities / Activities :

The Product Engineer manages production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to high volume production. They interface with design, process, and test reliability engineering to solve problems. The role includes sustaining products through cost reduction and yield improvements.

• ECO/MCO / Deviation management control system and production floor implementations.
• MRB Controls
• Development of product technician training and activity coordination.
• Development of continuous improvement projects.

Education : BS Degree in Electronic, Industrial, or Systems Engineering

Experience :

At least 5 years in Product Engineering within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of BOM PCA/Top Level or Chassis structures is important.

Minimum 1 year of experience with automotive customers.

Experience as a direct PE/Quality engineer in industry.

Knowledge :

Basic working knowledge of engineering disciplines involved in product manufacturing.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of automotive customer-specific requirements.

Knowledge of Quality Core Tools: PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, 8D, Control Plan.

Basic ISO9001:2008 knowledge; TS/IATF 16949 is a plus.

Experience in QE or PE roles on Networking, Storage, or Automotive products is a plus.

Skills / Competencies :

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.

Good English communication skills and willingness to work with a global team.

Ability to travel frequently.
