Process Engineer Sustaining 4 Manufacturing (POST)
- Expert understanding of wave solder processes.
- Create/design wave soldering fixtures and wave solder profiles.
- Conformal coating process knowledge.
- PresFit process knowledge.
- Routers process knowledge.
- Create/design PCB depaneling routers fixtures.
- Create/design manual soldering fixtures.
- Define, implement, and control the production process in assigned areas, supporting low volume/high mix manufacturing.
- Provide engineering support for New Product Introduction (NPI), including process and equipment validation, and first production unit build.
- Support generation and reporting of process metrics.
- Continuously improve process capability (Cpk), efficiency, and OEE, while supporting quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
- Apply Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
- Lead and collaborate with technical personnel to support activities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operation sequences, and processes for parts, components, and assemblies.
- Coordinate with design engineering for new product releases.
- Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.
- Maintain records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations.
- Experience with SMT equipment (e.g., MPM, DEK, SPI, FUJI NXT, AOI, AXI, HELLER, BTU), including maintenance, troubleshooting, process debugging, and program management using tools like PFMEA, 8D, 5S, Poka Yoke, Kaizen.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in process engineering.
- Qualifications include: Mechatronics, Electronics, or Systems Engineering; knowledge of Mechanics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electricity, and basic PLC; proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks; experience with Lean Manufacturing tools; ISO/IATF standards; basic programming (C++, C#, Java); measurement instruments.
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from conception to commissioning.
- Analyze, evaluate, source, and install new equipment.
- Plan and oversee maintenance activities.
- Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.
- Optional skills: Mechanical modeling in SolidWorks, LabVIEW, automatic welding processes, supplier management.
