Job Description

General Description:

The forklift operator is responsible for moving materials within the warehouse, loading and unloading materials from vehicles using a forklift, reach truck, order picker, pallet jack, or other heavy material handling equipment as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Receive, store, pick, pack, verify, ship, and perform other assigned tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the designated warehouse. Enter all received components into the system and place them in inventory locations, following applicable procedures.

2. Keep the work area clean and organized.

3. Maintain orderly and clean storage locations.

4. Participate in company-required activities and programs.

5. Contribute to personal and company safety.

Required Competencies:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a materials handler.

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift.

• Minimum 1 year of experience with scanner handling.

• Software Skills: Office Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ETQ Reliance, AS400, and SAP.

Education:

High school diploma, technical degree, or equivalent.
