Corning Inc. is seeking a Multicloud Administrator to act as an SME for compute technologies, with emphasis on multicloud environments.

The role bridges infrastructure and application teams to deliver complex Corning initiatives across global data centers. Responsibilities include Windows server and VMware management, ITIL‑based service management, and technical leadership in project planning and execution within a global, multi‑data center setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of server administration experience with monitoring, patching, incident and problem management.
• 3+ years in production IT infrastructure with hardware, hosting services and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication to bridge Infra and App teams and drive ITIL‑based service management.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and manage Windows servers.
• 2) Install, configure, manage VMware vCloud Suite.
• Follow standards and guidelines for Compute Platform with service line owners.
• Develop and support compute solutions that meet business needs; align with Corning standards.
• Evaluate designs, run tests, and administer complex methodologies.
• Support IT project startup with technical consultation and PMO approval.
• Lead planning, design, coordination, and execution of work plans.
• Promote a consistent vision and strategy across the org.
• Build relationships to drive better strategies and services.
• Provide support for the Multicloud environment.
