A global insurance leader is seeking a MuleSoft Developer who will work on API development and support. Candidates should have extensive experience in application design and development, with a preference for MuleSoft certification. This role requires collaboration with business teams and expertise in various technologies, including Java and cloud-based solutions. The position is open only to residents of Mexico City or Guadalajara.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in Application Design and Development, or 9+ years with a high school diploma.
• MuleSoft Developer certification is preferred.
• Experience with RAML and ODATA for service design.

At Zurich Capability Center, we are looking for a:

MuleSoft Developer

Specific duties include:

• Working closely with the Business, other application teams, and the Integration Architect to understand Zurich’s business/application needs.
• Creating and supporting APIs for ZNA’s mobile applications.
• Understanding Business Requirements, performing impact analysis, and assessing technical challenges/feasibility to achieve business outcomes.
• Developing APIs using MuleSoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, Anypoint Studio, and Anypoint MQ.
• Testing and improving API performance in response time, reliability, and resource usage.
• Troubleshooting complex production API issues, identifying sources, and coordinating fixes with relevant teams.
• Serving as a technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust integration solutions on the MuleSoft platform.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience in Application Design and Development, OR
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of experience in Application Design and Development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MuleSoft Developer certification is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience with:
• MuleSoft API development, CloudHub, and RTF environments.
• Service design using RAML (with JSON) and ODATA.
• Integration architecture principles, patterns, and concepts for API, SOA, Batch, and RESTful JSON services.
• Cloud-based technologies, including Azure.
• Proficiency in Java (OpenJDK).
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Converting APIs from SOAP to REST.
• Experience with OpenAPI Specification (Swagger).
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, and data serialization/deserialization.
• SQL query optimization and database design, with experience in MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or DB2.
• Version control using GitHub.
• API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger UI.
• Experience with build tools like Eclipse.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience containerizing APIs using Docker.
• Addressing code vulnerabilities using tools like Veracode or SonarQube.
