Job Responsibilities

Responsible for purchasing a wide variety of supplies or services while ensuring cost-effective and on-time material availability. Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers, and negotiates prices, delivery, quality, and service for goods and services required for business purposes.

• Coordinate, track, and provide status updates on materials from order to stock readiness.
• Investigate, resolve, and communicate issues affecting material availability.
• Apply elementary problem-solving techniques.
• Own program/project schedule and task management.
• Manage plant-to-plant and supplier-to-supplier transitions.
• Identify needs for process improvements, methods, and tools, providing effective solutions.

Qualifications

Education: Professional degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields preferred.

Experience: Desired experience in Procurement, Materials Planning, and Lean methodologies.

Certifications: APICS certification is desirable.

Languages: Advanced English proficiency.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Projects, Power BI, ALM (JIRA), SAP, Microsoft Office, and time management tools. Experience with process improvement and Lean Six Sigma tools is a plus.
