You will manage purchasing processes ensuring cost-effective and timely material availability, coordinate materials from order placement to stock readiness, and handle supplier negotiations. Strong skills in problem-solving and compliance with health and safety standards are essential.

Formación

• Experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Skills in supplier negotiation and bid evaluation.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.

• Responsible for purchasing supplies while ensuring cost-effective material availability.
• Coordinates and tracks materials from order to stock.
• Investigates and resolves issues affecting material availability.

Descripción del empleo

Responsible for purchasing a wide variety of supplies or services while ensuring cost-effective and on-time material availability. Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers, and negotiates prices, delivery, quality, and service for goods and services required for business purposes.

Coordinates, tracks, and provides status updates on materials from order placement until they are ready in stock.

● Investigates, resolves, and communicates issues that can affect material availability.

● Understands elementary problem-solving techniques.

● Owns program/project schedule and task management.

● Manages plant-to-plant and supplier-to-supplier transitions.

● Identifies needs for process, method, and tool enhancements, providing solutions.

● Fulfills all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, QMS, and administrative policies in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Pursues initiatives and continuous improvement efforts daily.
