SBM Offshore is seeking an Assistant Mooring Master to support berthing, mooring and offload operations for export tankers. The role requires strong marine skills, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and close cooperation with cargo and offshore teams.

The incumbent will deputize the Mooring Master, assist with equipment readiness, and participate in training and incident investigations to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Formación

• STCW Reg. AII/2 plus DCE for Oil and/or Gas as applicable.
• Tandem offload simulator training attendance certificate.
• Minimum 3 years seas service on tankers Aframax–VLCC with leadership exposure or 3 years on FPSO with cargo supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of offshore FPSO/FSO operations and safety management.

Responsabilidades

• Deputize the Mooring Master during berthing, mooring and offload operations.
• Assist in readiness and maintenance of offload hose and tandem hawser systems.
• Coordinate with vessel masters and cargo surveyors for expeditious offload operations.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Management System and regulatory requirements.
