Baxter Healthcare in Tijuana, Mexico, seeks a Spec, MIP-Engineering to develop, optimize and launch medical device products and manufacturing processes, while leading projects to meet time, cost and quality goals.

Required: Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical/Electromechanics/Systems engineering with 5+ years in related roles; experience in problem solving, project management, lean, Six Sigma, ISO/FDA GMP environments, and process validation (IQ/SV/OQ/PQ). English proficiency is required.

Formación

• Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical/Electromechanics/Systems engineer.
• Minimum five years of experience in related positions.
• Experience in problem solving, project management, acting as project lead, lean practices, six sigma, line transfers.
• Experience working in ISO / FDA supervised environments and GMP’s.

Responsabilidades

• Lead margin improvement projects (MIP) in line with the site plan and department goals.
• Complete project implementations on time, avoiding impact to manufacturing lines.
• Identify MIP opportunities and evaluate their feasibility and savings.
• Collaborate with Procurement on quoting materials/products for ideas.
• Lead workshops/Kaizen/VAVE events and drive cross-functional team ideas.
