***Middleware Engineer - 12 months+ contract - Madrid, Spain (Hybrid)***

RED Global is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our top clients and is looking for an experienced Middleware Engineer.

This is a long-term contract position with hybrid working in Madrid.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Long-term contract

Location: Madrid (Hybrid - 2-3 days on-site)

Language: Spanish

Key Skills & Experience

• +5 years of experience in middleware infrastructure roles
• Strong background in web server administration (Apache, .NET, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic)
• Experience with deployment, migration, and optimization of infrastructure supporting enterprise applications
• Solid understanding of infrastructure for integration and web publishing
• Hands-on experience with HAProxy
• Familiarity with OpenShift and DevOps practices (GIT, Ansible automation)
• Knowledge of Squid is a plus
• Comfortable working with development teams and managing advanced configurations

Profile

• Proactive and solution-oriented
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Able to take ownership of technical deployments and system improvements
