Job summary

Flex, a global diversified manufacturing partner, is seeking a Legal Counsel, Mexico Lead in Guadalajara, MX. You will partner with site leaders across operations and the account team, handling day-to-day legal matters and strategic guidance to add global value.

You will be part of a regional legal team, supporting commercial negotiations, regulatory compliance, and labor matter processes, coordinating with government authorities and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with JD or equivalent.
• Experience providing legal assistance to executive-level clients in an international manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican commercial, corporate, and foreign trade regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal contact for site customers and commercial negotiations.
• Negotiate, draft and escalate foreign and domestic transactions including manufacturing services, procurement, IP, warranty, indemnity, inventory, and financing issues.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance requirements including IMMEX/maquiladora, customs, data protection, environmental, and anti-corruption obligations.
