Hitachi Energy Mexico is seeking a seasoned finance leader to drive financial planning, analysis, and controlling for the Mexico operations. Reporting to the Function Controlling Lead LATAM, you will ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely financial reporting while enabling business performance.

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Controlling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to independently solve complex financial, regulatory, and operational challenges.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; translate financial information into actionable insights.
• Strong IFRS expertise and understanding of differences between local statutory accounting and IFRS reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all financial controlling activities for the Mexico legal entity, ensuring IFRS, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Review and analyze financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and key financial metrics.
• Collaborate closely with the Country Finance Manager (CFM) and senior leadership on key strategic financial initiatives.
• Act as a finance business partner to functional leaders, supporting decision-making, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
• Calculate and maintain Mexico CCC hub rates for services provided to other countries, including annual rate-setting, ongoing monitoring, and periodic true-up adjustments, as required.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and support internal and external audit activities.
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 2 finance professionals.
• Support regional and global finance initiatives and special projects, as required.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
