Fresenius Medical Care Reynosa plant seeks a Metrology Engineer to ensure accuracy and compliance of measurement systems used in validation of medical device components.

You will support Quality, Manufacturing and R&D with metrology data, calibration management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Travel to the United States may be required; bilingual proficiency is essential.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of metrology experience in medical devices.
  • Proficiency with GD&T; certification preferred.
  • Experience programming and operating Zeiss CMMs using Calypso.
  • Experience with Keyence IM systems.
  • Proficiency in metrology software and statistical analysis tools.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel to the United States.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and maintain metrology procedures, calibration systems, and measurement methods.
  • Create and maintain CMM programs (Zeiss/Calypso) for first article and receiving inspections.
  • Perform dimensional measurements and analyze data to support quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to define metrology requirements for new products.
  • Manage calibration activities, certification records, and metrology laboratory equipment.
  • Investigate measurement discrepancies and support corrective actions.

As a **Metrology Engineer**, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of measurement systems used in the inspection and validation of medical device components and products.
