Daikin Manufacturing México is seeking an MES Coordinator to optimize MES operations across multiple sites. You will collaborate with manufacturing, IT, automation, and business teams to align MES initiatives with production needs and digital transformation.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily MES operations, leading deployments and upgrades, and coordinating ERP/SCADA integrations to improve OEE and data visibility. Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication are essential.

Formación

• 3–5 years of MES experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with multi-site MES implementation & support.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or related field.

The MES Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, support, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across multiple manufacturing sites. This role involves coordinating MES implementations, managing integrations with ERP and automation systems, and driving system enhancements to improve operational efficiency, quality, and data visibility.

The MES Coordinator will work closely with manufacturing, IT, automation, and business teams to align MES strategies with production needs and digital transformation initiatives.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensure Reliable MES Operations Across Sites

• What? - Oversee daily MES operations and provide functional support across multiple manufacturing plants.
• How? - By monitoring system performance and alerts, validating data accuracy, coordinating incident responses, escalating critical issues, and collaborating with IT and automation teams.

What For? - To ensure uninterrupted production, high system availability, and reliable data flow that supports real-time manufacturing decisions and plant efficiency.

Lead MES Troubleshooting, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement

• What? - Manage issue resolution and identify opportunities to enhance MES functionality and performance.
• How? - By diagnosing hardware/software/data flow issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams, reconfiguring MES logic, and driving system enhancements or automation initiatives.

What For? - To minimize system downtime, support lean manufacturing, improve OEE, and continuously align MES capabilities with evolving operational needs.

Drive MES Implementation Projects and System Upgrades

• What? - Lead MES deployments, enhancement rollouts, and upgrade initiatives across plants.
• How? - By gathering requirements, defining scope, managing timelines and vendors, validating solutions, documenting changes, and ensuring alignment with business goals and IT governance.

What For? - To deliver scalable and efficient MES solutions that support production growth, reduce manual effort, and align with IT strategy and project standards.

Coordinate MES Integration with ERP, SCADA, and Shopfloor Systems

• What? - Ensure MES integrates seamlessly with upstream and downstream systems including ERP, PLCs, and SCADA.
• How? - By defining data flow requirements, validating system interfaces, collaborating with developers, and supporting cybersecurity, infrastructure, and compliance teams.

What For? - To enable synchronized and secure operations across systems, ensure consistent data exchange, and enhance traceability, production control, and decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of experience managing MES in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with multi-site MES implementation & support.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS and/or SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or related field.
