ABB is seeking a MES Champion/Modeler to support MES implementation in Juarez, with hybrid work options. You will lead MES modelling, engage with the Global MES organization, and coordinate a local team while applying Agile methods and project controls.

The role requires strong backend skills, experience with MES/ERP systems, and travel readiness. English fluency and collaboration across functions are essential to success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, computer systems, business engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience within Manufacturing or Computer Science related role.
• Knowledge of MES and ERP systems, materials management and production control, SAP preferred.
• Proven backend development experience for mid-size projects.
• Experience with discrete manufacturing and production control, MES/ECS systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Apply Agile methodologies to organize and manage local MES development activities.
• Manage the sprint backlog, priorities, planning and follow-up of development activities.
• Collect and translate factory requirements into MES solutions.
• Perform MES modelling and configuration following global standards.
• Lead local MES projects from requirements definition through deployment.
• Coordinate the local MES team and technical contributors.
• Monitor project progress, risks and resources; coordinate testing and deployment.
• Promote reuse, documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
