ABB söker en MES Champion / Modeler som stödjer implementeringen av ett Manufacturing Execution System och fungerar som lokal teknisk och funktionell referens mellan fabriken och Global MES-organisationen. Du leder MES-projekt från krav till driftsättning, tillämpar Agile och koordinerar ett tvärfunktionellt team i Juárez.

Rollen kräver erfarenhet av tillverkning och backendutveckling samt flytande engelska.

Formación

• Kandidatsen har kandidatexamen inom information management, datorsystem eller liknande.

Responsabilidades

• Växla och leda lokal MES-utveckling enligt agila principer.
• Leda sprint backlog, prioriteringar och planering av utvecklingsaktiviteter.
• Sammanställa krav från fabrik till MES-lösningar.
• Göra MES-modellering och konfiguration enligt globala standarder.

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) as a MES Champion / Modeler.

The MES Champion is the local technical and functional reference for MES and the main interface between the factory and the Global MES organization. The role combines hands‑on MES modelling with project management and Agile coordination capabilities.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the IT Business in Juarez.

Main responsibilities:

• Apply Agile methodologies to organize and manage local MES development activities.

• Manage the sprint backlog, priorities, planning and follow-up of development activities.

• Collect and translate factory requirements into MES solutions.

• Perform MES modelling and configuration following global standards and Golden Examples.

• Lead local MES projects from requirements definition through implementation and deployment.

• Coordinate the local MES team and the different technical contributors.

• Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies and resource availability.

• Coordinate development, testing, deployment and issue resolution.

• Promote reuse, documentation and knowledge sharing within the local team.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, computer systems, business engineering or similar.

• 5+ years of experience within Manufacturing or Computer Science related role.

• Knowledge of MES and ERP systems, materials management and production control, Critical Manufacturing MES and SAP preferred.

• Proven track record of backend development for mid size projects.

• Strong backend programming capabilities.

• Experience with discrete manufacturing & capability to analyze and synthesize information obtained from various groups of stakeholders.

• Experience with production control, specifically MES/ECS systems.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

• Availability to travel with possibly some international travel.

• Fluent English.
