Grupo Modelo is seeking a highly motivated M&A Manager in Mexico City to lead and execute strategic transactions across the deal lifecycle. The role requires exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and stakeholder management, with responsibility for due diligence, negotiations, and cross-functional coordination.

Formación

  • Bachelor's or postgraduate in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Strong financial, analytical, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and extensive experience in financial modeling and valuation.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions from origination through closing.
  • Manage transaction processes, including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation support, contract review, and execution.
  • Coordinate and oversee transaction documentation, purchase agreements, and related contractual matters with internal and external legal advisors.
  • Develop and oversee complex financial models, valuation analyses, and investment recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, investment memoranda, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, executive committees, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Evaluate strategic growth opportunities and assess their financial and operational impact.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, investment banks, legal counsel, regulatory authorities, and transaction counterparties.
  • Coordinate antitrust and regulatory approval processes across Latin America, ensuring compliance with applicable competition laws and transaction requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams throughout transaction execution, integration planning, and post-merger value creation initiatives.

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven M&A Manager to lead and execute strategic transactions across the deal lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional financial modeling and valuation expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and proven experience managing complex transactions in fast-paced environments. This role requires the ability to identify growth opportunities, conduct comprehensive financial and strategic analyses, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage transaction documentation and contractual negotiations, and drive successful transaction outcomes that maximize shareholder value. The position offers significant exposure to senior executives and C-level stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Additional Required Skills
  • Deal Execution & Contract Management: Proven experience managing end-to-end transaction execution, including contract negotiation support, transaction documentation, and closing processes.
  • Executive Communication: Demonstrated ability to prepare and present complex financial and strategic analyses to executive leadership teams, boards, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Antitrust & Regulatory Exposure: Experience supporting antitrust filings, regulatory approvals, and compliance processes for M&A transactions across Latin America, with an understanding of multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
