Turner & Townsend is seeking a seasoned MEP Project Manager in Mexico to lead industrial and data center construction projects with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Bilingual in English and Spanish, you will oversee multidisciplinary teams and ensure regulatory compliance across all stages.

The role requires extensive MEP expertise, procurement coordination, risk management, and effective stakeholder communication to drive project success in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• 5+ years as the responsible project lead for MEP systems in industrial, manufacturing, or data center projects.
• Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican regulatory requirements and codes.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; able to lead meetings and prepare technical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all MEP systems on industrial and data center projects, ensuring compliance with technical specs and Mexican regulations.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams with accountability for execution and delivery.
• Verify compliance of electromechanical and special systems with project specs and codes.
• Prepare, review, and maintain complete project documentation for transparency and traceability.
• Evaluate and manage contractor qualifications and performance with clear direction.
• Conduct design reviews to define scope of work, drawings, and specifications with stakeholders.
• Perform on-site inspections of piping systems, equipment fabrication, and installation.
• Enforce safety regulations across all project phases and maintain zero-tolerance for non-compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain the project risk register with mitigation strategies.
• Lead value engineering initiatives and recommend process improvements.
• Facilitate project team meetings and client communications with formal reports and minutes.
