Formación

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Medical Manager role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Highly desirable experience in neurology or psychiatry.
  • Advanced professional proficiency in English.

Job Description Summary

Location: Mexico City, #LI-Hybrid

In line with overall product strategy, the Medical Advisor is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and execution of Medical Affairs plans for the assigned Therapy Area. This includes providing scientific information, assisting in the design & organization of clinical studies, and building educational dialogue with KOLs and regulatory stakeholders.

Job Description

Major accountabilities:

  1. Respond to medical inquiries in a high-quality, timely manner, following applicable standards; develop standard response documents for frequently asked questions.
  2. Provide medical/scientific input into the development and execution of clinical trials and research activities, including initiation and oversight within the respective therapeutic area.
  3. Support the country strategy for Non-Interventional Studies and Investigator Initiated Trials.
  4. Coordinate review and approval of medical and promotional materials, ensuring they are tailored to local needs and reviewed/approved according to local/P3 guidelines.
  5. Provide medical insights to cross-functional groups such as Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, QA, Commercial, and Brand teams.
  6. Identify and assess risks, plan mitigation strategies, and monitor internal controls within responsibilities.
  7. Report technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt. Manage the distribution of marketing samples where applicable.

Key performance indicators:

  1. Adherence to Ethics & Compliance policies.
  2. Achievement of annual targets for medical activities.

Work Experience:

  • Medical degree, certified.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Medical Manager role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Highly desirable experience in neurology or psychiatry.
  • Advanced professional proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong collaboration skills across boundaries.
  • Operations management and execution capabilities.
