Your Tasks
Role purpose:
Collaborate with the Head of Integrated Media (HOIM) / Digital and the Marketing Director to oversee the campaign calendar and plan media sufficiency for each campaign. Align media strategies and frameworks with global and regional standards, adapting them to meet local market needs. Develop annual local media channel strategies that support brand objectives and business performance goals.
This role covers all media channels, requiring expertise across both online and offline platforms and the ability to create cohesive, effective multi-channel campaigns.
Main Responsibilities:
- In partnership with the PM & PI Leads, marketing/brand team and media agency, develop and implement the media strategy to support the launch / re-launch of each campaign and ensure it utilizes both digital and traditional media to maximize reach and impact,
- Manage the campaign calendar and coordinate the development process to ensure campaigns are executed on time, aligning all stakeholders, including PM & PI Leads, marketing teams, and TTL (through the line) media agencies,
- Coordinate with Precision Marketing lead (PM), Audience & Data Strategy Manager (ADSM) & Precision Influence (PI) lead to ensure campaign insights are collected, compiled and implemented in future activity,
- With the Head of Integrated Media and media agency, drive media agency and publisher partner negotiations to deliver the best terms for Beiersdorf and track those commitments throughout the year,
- Organize quarterly media reviews that measure & track total campaign KPI performance,
- Ensure high-quality insights from the media agency, publisher partners, PM & PI Leads and the application of those learnings and opportunities in future media executions,
- Oversee the contract with the media agency to measure delivery, both in scope (supported by HOIM) and rates (supported by procurement), Manage the agency delivery of data and input into all associated media tools (e.g. GMP and dashboards) and reports (MediaX and regional submissions). Audit and hold accountable for errors or lack of delivery,
- Responsible for ensuring excellence in TV plans, from the financial process to analysis and approval, providing the best KPIs for the channel and striving to optimize costs and reach that compliment the total media and communications strategy.
Your Profile
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- At least 6 years experience in media planning in both offline media buying and digital marketing,
- Experience managing multiple campaigns and categories at once,
- Experience managing media agency relationships,
- Demonstrate excellent planning, organizational and time management skills and an ability to work with competing priorities,
- Experience working in cross-functional teams,
- Good presentation skills,
- Showcase good financial and budget management skills,
