El candidato ideal debe tener un enfoque en la mejora continua y cumplir con estándares de calidad y seguridad. Se requiere un título en Mecatrónica y experiencia en automatización para implementar soluciones efectivas e innovadoras.

Formación

• Mínimo de 3 años en automatización de procesos y sistemas de control industrial.
• Certificaciones preferidas: Gestión de proyectos, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma.
• Inglés: nivel intermedio requerido.

Responsabilidades

• Aplicar conocimientos ingenieriles para resolver problemas técnicos relacionados con productos y procesos.
• Evaluar y aplicar técnicas y procedimientos estándar para soluciones de automatización.
• Analizar procesos de producción y implementar mejoras para aumentar la eficiencia.

Mechatronics Engineer – Automation & Control

Location: Mérida, Yucatán
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Role Description
We are looking for a professional responsible for implementing technical and engineering solutions focused on continuous improvement of industrial processes. This role will focus on data analysis, design of control and automation systems, and the development and implementation of projects that ensure compliance with strategic and operational KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering (completed).
• Minimum of 3 years in process automation, industrial control systems, and continuous improvement.
• Preferred Certifications: Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality Control, and/or Data Analysis.
• English: Intermediate level required.
• Key Technical Knowledge: Industrial control and automation, lean manufacturing systems, instrumentation and sensors, industrial robotics, and technical data management.
• Desired Experience: Use of statistical software, ERP systems, and/or shopfloor control systems.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering knowledge to solve technical issues related to plant products, processes, or services.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures for automation, efficiency, and control solutions.
• Provide technical support during testing, installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment or processes.
• Analyze production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
• Participate in the design and execution of engineering projects, including preparation of technical proposals and presentations.
• Support engineering planning activities: design, resource allocation, execution, and monitoring.
• Perform design verifications using checklists and technical guidelines in accordance with applicable engineering standards.
• Clearly and systematically document all technical modifications, implemented solutions, and improvements.
• Track and ensure compliance with engineering schedules and deliverables.
• Contribute to the technical evaluation of materials, tools, vendors, or critical processes.
• Ensure that technical solutions align with quality standards, safety regulations, and the company’s environmental criteria.
