Process Engineer

What you’ll do:

1. Improve and develop the LW Process.
2. Follow the 1 Product 1 Process (1P1P) strategy.
3. Create process documentation (SWI, Process parameter control, Setup, PFMEA).
4. Support site activities for Autonomous Manufacturing Group.
5. Provide proper follow-up of Policy Deployment actions.
6. Monitor process improvement & Autonomous Manufacturing Center metrics.
7. Analyze variables & adjust processes accordingly.
8. Apply PLC knowledge and automation experience with robots.
9. Help develop new projects, ensure correct launch processes, and reduce cycle times.
10. Increase PPH, ensure product quality, eliminate muda, optimize robot movements, reduce scrap, implement best practices, develop process parameters for new programs, and debug new part numbers.
11. Design, execute, test, and monitor process quality results.
12. Develop best practices for process improvement.
13. Update PFMEA.
14. Implement process improvements to reduce scrap.
15. Conduct DOE and manage new product reception, documentation, and equipment.
16. Create ECNs in Manit and standardize engineering changes.
17. Establish processing requirements for equipment design and acquisition.
18. Develop new product launch programs, SWI, and setup procedures.
19. Troubleshoot and resolve production process/equipment issues.
20. Design and plan layout for materials; specify procedures for processing materials.
21. Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and interpret drawings (2D and SolidWorks).
22. Possess basic knowledge of mechatronics.
23. Conduct time studies, line balancing, and ergonomics assessments.
24. Collaborate effectively with QC, Finance, Engineering, New Launches, and Security departments.
25. Perform tests and measurements throughout production to control variables.
26. Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership.
27. Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation compliance.

What is required:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• JDE Oracle knowledge.
• Experience with quality criteria for steering wheels.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• SolidWorks knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and cross-cultural skills.
• Problem-solving and sound judgment abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, share knowledge, and work independently and in teams.
• Detail-oriented and flexible with work schedule and travel requirements.
