Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico is seeking a Mechatronics/ Electronics Engineer with hands-on manufacturing experience to drive KPI-focused process enhancements. The role requires designing flow diagrams and layouts for new equipment, leading cost-efficient implementations, and adhering to established methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years in a medium-to-large manufacturing environment, strong data-driven decision making, and the ability to travel to the USA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering.
• 2–5 years in a medium-to-large manufacturing environment.
• Focus on manufacturing KPI’s and planning new processes for achievement of those KPI’s.
• Follow methodology in all assignments, leading to expedited and cost-efficient implementation.
• Advanced critical thinking and data driven decision making.
• Proficiency in designing process flow diagrams, floor layout and utility layout for new equipment installations.
• Proficiency in equipment construction, installation and start up planning and execution supervision.
• Capable of working in a matrix team environment with multiple lines of accountability.
• Able to travel to USA and overseas and Mexico cities.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, Robotics Programming, vision system, servo-motors configuration/motion programming.

Responsibilities

• Drive KPI-focused process improvements and new manufacturing processes.
• Design process flow diagrams, floor layouts, and utility layouts for new equipment installations.
• Lead cost-efficient implementations following established methodologies.
• Coordinate across matrix teams and support startup planning and execution.
