Join Cisco's Enterprise Switching Product Operations team in Guadalajara as a Mechanical Engineer. You will influence cost, quality and delivery across the product lifecycle, bridging hardware development, supply chain and manufacturing.

The Mechanical Product Engineer acts as the liaison between engineering, manufacturing and supply chain,leading design for manufacturability and change management while driving ongoing process improvements and documentation control.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years in manufacturing processes (stamping, die casting, injection molding, machining, extrusion, additive).
• DFM and DFA expertise with tolerance analysis and the ability to review and approve technical designs.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics and material properties.
• Experience in BOM structuring, risk management, and process improvement in manufacturing.
• Proficient in English; cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of fans, heat sinks, hardware, connectors, and cable assemblies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead manufacturability and design input across NPI and sustaining phases.
• Manage product-level documentation (BOM, production releases, change notices) and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Quality and Supply Chain to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Perform tolerance analyses and DFx reviews; evaluate environmental and tooling requirements.
• Support risk mitigation, multi-source assessments and value engineering opportunities.
• Provide input for lifecycle management from concept to end-of-life.
