A leading engineering firm in Monterrey is seeking an Engineer III to develop and support refrigeration components. You will solve complex mechanical problems and ensure designs meet regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 5 years of experience in the refrigeration field. This role requires fluency in English and proficiency in CAD software. Formación

  • 5+ years' experience with mechanical refrigeration components and related applications.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Resumen

Description:

Responsible for the develop and support of release and implementation refrigeration components for the overall design engineering aspect of a projects related to NPI, Sustaining, Operation Support. The Engineer III will solve complex problems and participate in the specification, design, and test for the next generation product platform. He/She will contribute to the next generation product design by developing a deep understanding of customer needs and translating them into functional solutions to provide safe and effective products.


Responsabilidades

Main Responsibilities:

1.Developing new mechanical solutions that meet all customer and regulatory requirements, including proper component selection, sizing, protection, and conformance with industry standards.

2.Maintain a strong knowledge of mechanical components strategies and systems, including legacy systems, and their impact on the operation of our products.

3.Serve as project lead on key design related initiatives. Examples include new structural design, transfer products, key customer launches and high complexity projects.

4.Create and communicate project plans, tasks and deliverables and manage time to meet project deadlines. This includes reporting pertinent information at key milestones through clear, concise oral and written communications.

5.Mentor other members of the Engineering team to aid in the development of design knowledge.

6.Partner with key mechanical suppliers to understand system capabilities, resolve customer concerns, and to influence future development.

7.Creation of structural design, piping design, component drawings, specifications, and creation of 3D Models.

8.Review and update engineering documentation, including product, parts and mechanical drawings, mechanical piping diagrams, instructions/MOA´s.

9.Support Manufacturing, Quality and Laboratory teams to ensure products are built and tested according to engineering specifications.

10.Engage in continuous and personalized learning programs to broaden technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, and electrical engineering.


Calificaciones

Requirements:

1.Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related field.

2.+5 years’ experience mechanical refrigeration components, implementation, validations and related applications.

3.Must speak and write fluent English.

Must possess the following skills/competencies:

•Knowledge and hands on experience with using mechanical components in refrigeration or HVAC or other related industry.

•Experience in validating mechanical components, subcomponents, sheetmetal and pipings.

•Ability to draft on CAD, minimum requirements in drafting proficiency shall include the ability to create from scratch and edit existing 3D drawings.

•Experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Solid Edge, Autocad (Similar 3D CAD software).

•Experience with Bill of Material Structures and Engineering Change processes.

•Technical understanding of refrigeration system design, electrical and electronic component functionality.

•Teamwork, personal accountability and solution driven behaviors
