KION Group AG, through Dematic’s Global Project Engineering, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design header steel support solutions for automation systems within buildings. You will create layouts, BOMs, and installation drawings, while ensuring quality and timely delivery across projects.
The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor), and the ability to coordinate small engineering teams, including on-site travel when
Formación
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or related field).
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design with CAD and technical drawing skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor; knowledge of structural design.
- Experience with FEA is a plus.
Responsabilidades
- Design header steel (structural elements) layouts and related drawings.
- Create BOMs and installation drawings for the header steel solutions.
- Support quality audits and cross audits of deliverables.
- Coordinate a small team of engineers and manage project-related tasks; travel on site if required.
