KION Group AG is seeking a Controls Engineer to join our R&D team, developing and implementing control systems for material handling automation. The role requires leadership on complex problems, cross-functional collaboration, and travel up to 50% primarily in the USA.

You will design, prototype, and field-test control software, integrate PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley), and ensure compliance with UL 508, NEC, and CE standards. Fluency in English is essential for global coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field required.
• Professional license is required.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed plans and objectives for product development.
• Guide and complete the preparation of design layouts, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Evaluate and review design results to ensure intended product performance.
• Develop prototypes for testing and provide technical support on design feasibility.
• Standardize materials, components, and assemblies for new and existing products.
