Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Design Engineer to prepare complex 3D CAD designs and BOMs for centrifugal pumps, ensuring compliance with global standards. The role involves supporting order-based technical documentation, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and packaging activities.

The candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering degree, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks/Draftsight), and GD&T proficiency, with experience in project coordination and communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Expert knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting software (SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Applied experience in 2D drafting standards and GD&T.
• Demonstrated problem solving capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational skills including attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, create design drawings, and prepare technical documentation from order to shipping.
• Collaborate with suppliers to complete quotation information.
• Create GA drawings, as-built sections, P&ID, and system components using 2D/3D CAD tools.
• Work with international team members and self-manage tasks as needed.
• Support Order Acquisition, Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and after-sales teams.
• Provide logistics/technical support for Factory operations and customer inquiries.
