The role involves maintenance, repair, and installation of custom automation equipment, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and experience in the industry. Formación

• At least 3 years in the custom automation industry.

Responsabilidades

• Wiring machines and control cabinets for special machinery.
• Conducting maintenance and repair on automation equipment.
• Executing quality tests and systematic troubleshooting.
• Travel to customer sites for installation and repair of equipment.
• Perform quality tests and troubleshoot old and new systems.
• Provide electrical service support and update technical docs.

* **Location:** Guadalajara* **Start:** immediately## Your tasks* Machine and control cabinet wiring in the field of special machine construction.* Maintenance, repair and installation work on our special machines.* Assembly and disassembly.* Independent execution of quality tests based on internal electrical acceptance protocols.* Systematic troubleshooting and troubleshooting of old and new systems.* Electrical service support.* Support for system installation and machine acceptance both at BBS and worldwide on site at customers in cooperation with other departments.## Your profile* Building custom built machinery according to mechanical drawings.* Installing and plumping hydraulic and pneumatic components according to hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.* Ensure all adjustments are done properly and according to function and mechanical prints (e.g. sensors, cylinder strokes, belt tension, pressure settings, flow controls, alignment, pre-load, etc.).* Making minor mechanical modifications to parts to ensure proper fit using power drills, mills lathe, etc.* Ability to use measurement tools (e.g. calipers, depth gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, machine levels, etc.) and understand measurements within 0.02mm (1/1000th of an inch).* Troubleshooting errors and malfunctions on custom built automation equipment.* Correcting / updating (redlining) of technical documentation like mechanical prints and bill of materials.* Travel to customer sites for installation and repair of custom-built automation equipment.* Overtime mandatory from time to time.* 50% domestic and international travel required.**Qualification/Education*** Minimum of 3 years in the custom automation industry.* Trade school degree as a mechanic technician or similar.* Journeyman Tool Maker / Machine Builder or equivalent.* Strong mechanical aptitude.
