If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Equipment Maintenance Engineer** located in **Guadalajara, North.**Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Engineer role will be responsible for repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems and production machines and equipment. Also maintains and troubleshoots in-circuit and functional testers, associated test fixtures, stress chambers and chamber racks to ensure manufacturing test equipment is on-line. **Responsibilities:*** Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.* Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.* Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.* Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.* Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.* Researches and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.* Records times and problems in equipment logs.* Provides daily equipment functioning activity information.* Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.* Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.* Aligns repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.* Devises formulas to solve problems in measurements and calibrations.* Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.* May require travel to other Flex sites or equipment vendors' locations.* Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.**The experience we're looking for to add to our team:*** Bachelor's degree in related field.* Strong experience in similar role* Ability to administer corrective and preventive maintenance as well as follow up of dead time when corrective maintenance is deployed.* Experience supporting SMT equipment maintenance, including ASMPT pick-and-place machines and related production line equipment.* Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance processes, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and downtime reduction.* Ability to manage machine calibrations, spare parts control, equipment logs, and maintenance documentation.* Familiarity with KPI follow-up related to equipment performance, line utilization, machine availability, and maintenance efficiency.* Strong collaboration skills to support process technicians, engineers, suppliers, and internal business partners during equipment installation, repair, and improvement activities.* Availability to work on rotating schedules to support equipment maintenance coverage and production needs.* Intermediate English.**What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:*** Competitive Salary.* Life & Medical insurance.* Christmas Bonus.* Food Coupons.* Saving Fund.* Life Insurance.MG61## ## Job CategoryOperationsRequired Skills:Optional Skills:Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
