Job summary

KB Rail Mexico in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for pneumatic and mechanical maintenance of production equipment. You will implement safety programs and perform preventive and corrective maintenance, while supporting the maintenance leader to meet department metrics and keeping a clean, safe work area.

Ideal candidate has 5 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, welding, and PLC basics, plus post-secondary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Mechanic B and Mechanic A with 440V three-phase electrical installations and basic machining/ measuring equipment.
• Intermediate English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical maintenance on production equipment.
• Support safety programs and preventive/corrective maintenance.

Essential Functions

• Implement and support to safety programs and preventive/corrective maintenance
• Provide support to maintenance leader to meet department’s metrics
• Work safely using all procedures and company’s personal protective equipment related to your job and which you are properly trained
• Cleanliness and order of your work area and work tool
• Support KPS TPM and Kaizen Events
• Perform all those activities that, due to the nature of the position are required

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees

Knowledge

• Knowledge of Mechanic B, Mechanic A (Knowledge of 440 Volts a 3 phases Electrical installations and basic knowledge of machining and measuring equipment)
