GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a skilled maintenance professional to perform multi-platform maintenance across Liechti, Okuma, Mazak CNC centers. You will diagnose using IndraWorks, calibrate to tight tolerances, and improve uptime in a high-precision production environment.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree and 6+ years in manufacturing/maintenance, with strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities to drive continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure that equipment and tools are in good condition for use. Propose plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action.
• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
• Multi-Platform Maintenance: Execute comprehensive preventative and reactive maintenance across Liechti (Turbomill/G-Series), Okuma, and Mazak machining platforms.
• Software & Control Troubleshooting: Utilize IndraWorks to configure, diagnose, and optimize drive parameters, motion logic, and communication interfaces within the machine controls.
• System Integration: Monitor and repair complex servo-drive systems, spindle units, and automated pallet/tool changers unique to our high-precision production environment.
• Precision Calibration: Perform kinematic alignments and geometric checks to ensure all machines maintain the ultra-tight tolerances required for complex component manufacturing.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify mechanical or software bottlenecks, leveraging diagnostic data from machine controls to increase uptime and production efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires basic experience in the Manufacturing & Equipment Maintenance. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with relevant experience).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Machine Expertise: Proven track record maintaining Liechti (airfoil/blade focus), Okuma, and Mazak CNC centers.
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Bosch Rexroth IndraWorks for software commissioning, diagnostics, and parameter optimization.
• Control Systems: Strong familiarity with CNC control environments (Fanuc, OSP, Mazatrol, and Siemens) and their integration with external drive/automation software.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and PLC logic.
• Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills to resolve intermittent hardware/software integration issues in a high-speed production setting.
