Mission

Use your knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under immediate supervision alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. Your contributions will involve designing, testing, and validating products from prototype to market. Join a team of highly committed professionals dedicated to the success of engineering projects and programs.

Technical contribution

  • Assist in designing electrical systems for automated industries in accordance with customer requirements and safety standards such as NEC and NFPA.

  • Perform commissioning activities and troubleshooting under supervision.

  • Prepare electrical drawings, including models, layouts, schematics, network stick drawings, cable routing, and preliminary FLA.

  • Understand project priorities and ensure timely delivery.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams.

  • Review specifications.

  • Exchange task-level information.

  • Report non-compliance incidents.

  • Prepare or update reports and documentation.

Day-to-day processes and tools

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Vault.

  • Experience with electrical hand tools such as pliers and screwdrivers.

  • Understand project priorities and resource planning.

  • VFD parametrization for Allen Bradley and Eaton drives.

  • Knowledge of basic safety requirements (LOTO, electrical hazards, working at heights).

  • Ability to perform cost-saving analysis.

  • Risk and safety awareness.

  • Ability to identify and report potential overcosts.

You must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Control Automation, Electrical, Electronics, or similar.

  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).

  • Over 3 years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of AutoCAD electrical and material handling.

  • Basic knowledge of VFDs.

  • Willingness to travel approximately 70-80% of the time.

  • Experience in conveyor design, layouts, and electrical design.

  • Basic project management knowledge.

  • Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM).
