Vertiv is seeking a skilled Inventory/Operations Analyst in Monterrey to partner with cross-functional teams on inventory levels, demand, and revision timing. You will scrub data, maintain item tracking, and coordinate with local Purchasing, MDM Operations, and Finance to meet SLAs.

The role emphasizes ERP usage, BOM management, Power BI, and strong communication. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in operations or supply chain are required.

Formación

  • 3–5 years in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing.
  • Intermediate MS Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and BOM management.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.

Responsabilidades

  • Determine and define inventory levels of specified items.
  • Provide clear item coverage, communicating when current inventory will be utilized.
  • Use item lead times to mark items that are at risk.
  • Identify open POs at risk due to revision changeover.
  • Coordinate with local Purchasing on target dates for revision changeover.
  • Ensure updates are provided to cross-functional teams to meet SLAs.
  • Maintain an organized item tracking system accessible to cross-functional teams.
  • Proactively communicate need to manage open POs and revision integrity with local Purchasing.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to minimize scrap, rework, and costs.
  • Support material availability and prevent disruptions due to revision changeover.
  • Serve as primary contact between local Purchasing and MDM Operations.
  • Gather, scrub, and manipulate data to generate reports on Part and Supplier requirements.
  • Follow predefined processes to ensure information accuracy.
  • Maintain task tracking sheet for CCO revisions and approvals.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and parts.

POSITION SUMMARY

The employee is responsible for providing input to a cross‑functional group to utilize inventory and assign revision implementation dates while minimizing impact to Operations. They will focus on current inventory analysis, current demand and inventory needs, open POs, and revision change over. They will be responsible for providing updates to Manufacturing Engineering, MDM (Master Data Management) CCO (Commercialization Change Order) Team, Local Planning/Buying, and occasionally Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Determine and define inventory levels of specified items
  2. Provide clear item coverage, communicating when current inventory will be utilized
  3. Use item lead times as an input to define items that are “at risk”
  4. Identify any open purchase orders at risk due to revision changeover
  5. Coordinate with local Purchasing team on target dates for revision changeover
  6. Ensure updates are provided to cross‑functional teams timely in order to meet a strict SLA
  7. Maintain an organized and well‑defined item tracking system that is easily accessible to cross‑functional teams
  8. Proactively communicate the need to manage open purchase orders and revision integrity with local Purchasing team
  9. Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to understand material dispositions and collaborate to minimize impacts on Operations (minimize scrap, rework, and inventory costs)
  10. Support material availability and ensure no disruptions due to revision changeover
  11. Serve as primary point of contact between local Purchasing team and MDM Operations team
  12. Gather, scrub, manipulate data to generate average to complex reports and analysis related to Part and Supplier requirement
  13. Ensure predefined process is followed to ensure accuracy of information
  14. Maintain task tracking sheet for CCO revision updates, input new items, monitor stakeholders’ approval and aging and for closure items
  15. Maintain knowledge of products and parts
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Intermediate MS Excel knowledge
  • Intermediate MS PowerPoint knowledge
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Experience in using ERP system
  • Basic knowledge and experience on Bill of Materials Management and Item Creation in ERP
  • Knowledge and experience in using Power BI
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing environment
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field (Business, Engineering, etc.) or Equivalent Work Experience

- Bilingual
