About the role

The MDM Data Analyst reports to the MDM/Data Governance Manager and manages the end-to-end master data processes for customer and product data within Kerry. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality, adherence to processes, and compliance with business rules. The analyst will collaborate with business leads to maintain data consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across applications.

Key responsibilities

1. Responsible for daily MDM data stewardship activities.
2. Handle ad hoc customer and product master data requests.
3. Participate in MDM User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
4. Define and maintain MDM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
5. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer and product master data.
6. Understand end-to-end processes for maintaining master data across business areas.
7. Harmonize customer and product data from multiple sources.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with stakeholders, IT, and other teams to coordinate MDM application changes, resolve issues, and plan enhancements. Assist in defining data sourcing strategies, including evaluating third-party providers, under the guidance of the MDM/Data Governance Manager.

Qualifications and skills

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, business administration, MIS, finance, sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with full MDM implementation cycles is preferred.

Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies

• Ability to establish strong relationships with business owners and support data governance for ongoing data quality.
• Business acumen.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Knowledge of data structures, relations, and processes.
• Understanding of technology and data querying, including SQL (preferred).
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in data harmonization, root cause analysis, and data discrepancy correction.

Internal and External Contacts

This role involves regular interaction with senior management, stakeholders across business units, sales, IT, data management peers, vendors, and consultants. The position requires collaborative influence and effective communication across diverse teams.
