Job Summary

We are looking to add a Design, Process and Technology Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus to support our teams who build great products and contribute to our growth.

What a typical day looks like:

• Collaborate with a matrixed, cross-functional team of technical experts within Flex to extend and build new resources and capabilities for the Flex knowledge base.
• Drive towards creative, robust, and effective solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Support engineering activities including prototyping, product build, system bring-up, testing, documentation, and successful release to manufacturing.
• Develop technically robust solutions to a wide variety of design problems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Manage design parameters and trade-offs in coordination with team members.
• Identify equipment and material needs and develop best practices.
• Design systems and subsystems to meet project and program goals, requirements, and schedules.
• Identify standard products and sub-components for inclusion in solution proposals.
• Build relationships with internal design teams and subcontractors to strategize based on future technologies.
• Seek continuous improvements and efficiencies in engineering processes.
• Monitor KPIs related to engineering performance.
• Stay updated on technical developments and trends in your field.
